Why Attend?
The treatment of menopause underwent a significant hiatus following the 2002 Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) study, which raised concerns about breast cancer and other complications. However, over 20 years later, new evidence and a better understanding have emerged, highlighting the importance of addressing this condition that affects all women. Women should not be deprived of treatment if clinically indicated, as it plays a vital role in maintaining a good quality of life in their later years.
Beside focusing on antenatal care and contraception, it is timely for primary care and family medicine to pay great attention to menopause. Our roadshow aims to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to provide comprehensive care for women during this critical life stage.
Mark your calendars for September 21, 2024, and join us at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Johor Bahru for an enriching day dedicated to women’s health. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to enhance your knowledge and practice. Scan the QR code on the flyer to register. CPD points and e-certificates will be provided to all participants.
